CZ, Tikka and more recently Bergara seem to be the most popular rifles I see at our ARA matches. I've owned all three brands and my recently acquired B14R is the best shooter of them all. The bolt isn't as smooth as a CZ 457 but I can deal with that. My B14R shot a 2500 at its first match. It took me 3 years to get a 2500 with my CZ.

Factor that into the price and once again the various CZ's start to look like a bargain. The Bergara B14R is much better than the BMR but also costs much more and is not allowed in ARA factory matches or NRL22 Std rifle class. It must shoot in unlimited class and that puts it into tough competition with VuDoo, Anschutz and custom rigs.

But a cz and bergara will be more consistent and easier to shoot in my opinion. Nature of the beast. For a cheaper 700 foot print practice tool short of Vudoo Bergara.
