D0VE heads will require new studs and guideplates that cost about the same as the Crane kit, and D20E heads are $$$$, so there's really no advantage to using either of them as long as you are porting the D3's to support the power. D3's are really close-port wise-to the D0VE's but obviously the D3's have bolt-down rockers and bigger chambers. The E7's have TINY ports and-well-the only intake that fits them is the EFI intake (fuelie's). The dyno tests in there showed the following progression: SCJ heads: Gain of 35hp vs base d0ve heads. Ported d0ve heads - gain of 65hp vs unported, or gain of 30hp vs unported SCJ heads. The porting they did on the base heads looks a lot like Paul Kane's photos above.
