Getting awakening gems is rare as you don’t get them too often. These are awarded after the completion of certain story quests or event quests. So you must be wise enough to use them on good champs, especially when you are using a 5-star awakening gem and a generic awakening gem. What Champion Should I Awaken or Dupe With a Generic Awakening GemSOP is literally a saving grace for Cav players. There’s no good way to get T5CC pre-cavalier and the only ways to get them are in small increments and random. The fact that you have to fully explore Act 7.1/2 to get any guaranteed T5CC of reasonable size is kinda outrageous since the story progression gate is at the end of the prior Act.I’d say it’s more about having the right champions and ranking those ones up.
