Just wrapped up an install here and this thread was a huge help. Bought a spool of 2 wire thermostat wire. Ran acc + and - from ecobee to the unit. No humidistat needed. Works like a charm. Couple notes: The request for humidity is passed to a dry contact. This means no relay needed ( no 24v) because it's a self powered unit.
