One possible cause is the level of charge in the battery. As the power diminishes, features get disabled. One way to determine this is to test the battery with a volt meter. 1 Answer. I take it you mean when you pull on the handle it will not open. If the handle is loose, like nothing connected, then the plastic latch mechanism is broken leading from the handle to the lock. The handle requires changing and the inner door panel must be removed to do it.
