Glock 19 vs xd.
I have owned the Glock models 17, 19, 26, 36, 22, and 27. I have owned the XD models 45C, 9SC and recently purchased a XD40. Overall, I like the Glocks more than the XD's. The Glocks are lighter and balance better in the hand and I like the Glock's trigger more than the trigger on the XDs.

The Glock 17 is 7.32 x 5.43. The Glock 34 is 8.15 x 5.43. The XD subcompact is 6.25 x 4.75. The XD service is 7.3 x 5.50. The XD tactical is 8.30 x 5.50. The glock 19 is not that much larger than an XD subcompact. It fits in as a compact between a subcompact and a service model. Same old answer then, buy what you like.No issues,,,,, That was until I shot my XD sub. In my opinion no comparison with accuracy. At least for me personally. Now,, I realize I have more trigger time on my XD but I really did shoot the XD much better. I know, grip angle and all but I actually shoot the Glock 30 better than the XD 45's and the 19 about the same as my XD Service.
