Under helicopter controls, for some reason, the three default keys bound to Nose Up are S, Down, or Mouse Up. Nose Down is bound to W, Up, or Mouse Down. I don't know what the thinking was behind switching the mouse movements around. But as MisterOuchie said, you can easily change it so it's proper. 2.
The control over the helicopter is insane if you learn AFM. BFM teaches you that throttle doesn't matter, in AFM throttle matters at every speed even you are flying straight. The standard controls are just clunky and really weird in my opinion. I mean, in real life even someone who has never flown a helicopter can fly one if he gets a 10min introduction from a flight instructor, and the controls in arma 3 are more complicated than in real life. And by all necessary means, Arma is no flight simulator. The mini guns are awesome to shoot, though a bit too light to destroy the BTR, as it's only 7.62 mm. You cannot. You can have an AI in the gunner seat and tell them what to fire at though. Press ' T ' to lock onto targets and your gunner will target them. You may have to tell them to fire or hold fire depending on their behaviour or combat status.
