We had never been to Florida and were taking our first Disney trip without kids for our 30th anniversary when we booked this hotel. And GRAND it is.

The guest free parking is the lot you see to the west of Floridian Way. You will also see how busy it is compared to the main parking lot at the hotel which is valet only - $12 when we stayed which was a few years ago.Now these two things might not matter in the least to someone else, and the Grand Floridian is a beautiful resort, with good restaurants and great pools, and it is close to the Magic Kingdom, if that's where you plan to spend a lot of time. But I'd take any of the Disney resorts in the Epcot area first. 3.
Dec 28, 2014 · Upon arriving to the beautiful Grand Floridian Resort on December 13, 2014, the parking gate attendant radioed to the front desk to announced that we had arrived. It was our first time staying at the Grand Floridian and a bucket list resort for my family. We are DVC owners at Copper Creek so we stayed on DVC points.
