Opened up my 2.5 year-old GE dryer this morning to troubleshoot the heating element and found this exact same thing. Curious if anyone contacted GE about this? Seeing this many people with the same problem from a 5-minute Google search makes me wonder how many others have this same problem.Dryer heating element assembly.
