The quick hitch for the 1025R is a different part number than the quick hitch for the X700s. That may be why your dealer is saying you need a new one. The only difference between the 2 is that the hanger bar on the tractor end of the hitch is removable on the 1025R hitch & is welded in place on the X700 hitch. The hitches are interchangeable.
