From a story perspective: Invisible means that the pilot's eyes can't see you. Their mech's sensors still can. So they can target you but just are less likely to hit. Hidden is avoiding those sensors. So they don't know a precise enough location to hit you well but may still have a general idea and blow that area up.

Cyberpunk has a specific style but a mech can look like anything, especially in Lancer where a variety of different design styles are showcased. I dunno if this is accurate or not, but I’d bet a disproportionate amount of the trans people playing Lancer focus on Horus mechs specifically I dunno what pronouns has to do with anything.

The reltionships of these entities are complex - Union is not strong enough not to cooperate with corpos in some manner, and Horus is extremely fragmented between cells.
