I obtained the brass buttplate and forend tip from someone who parted out a beat up up Zane Gray 336 (must been in really bad shape to part out). The problem is that the tang (or triggerplate) is differant between a pistol grip and a straight grip so a PG stock will not fit a SG triggerplated gun. Metal working fabrications are possible to convert one style to another however.
