The futures commissions on tda are nasty indeed. ~$5 per contract round trip. Terrible. But I like the interface and I think using ActiveTrader is easier and more intuitive than most other platforms I’ve tried. Nov 9, 2023 · First, TradingView has a more extensive network of supported brokers in terms of asset types. The platform supports Futures, Stocks, Forex, as well as Crypto brokers. NinjaTrader on the other hand, mainly supports Futures and Forex but does have some stockbrokers as well. Just recently switched from TW to Ninjatrader for futures and I'm saving 75% on commissions. Still use TW for cash account though. For Manual trading yes TradeStation sucks for futures but automated trading is where TradeStation shines you can code and trade fully coded systems.
