Turning off the car and restarting resolved the problem for a while, but eventually, on startup, I would have another unresponsive screen. I think I am losing my mind. I could have sworn that I saw a video somewhere that showed that when you get in the Forester and start it up, that the mid upper info screen will say Welcome (and the persons name). But try as I may, I can't find any reference to that in the manual(s) nor in any search both in the forum and on YouTube.
