Keep in mind we're doing unorthodox patches, so it's not surprising sometimes update checking algorithms will bug out. The proper way to do this the same way YT ReVanced and YT Music ReVanced are done is you do a custom package name so they don't identify as the unpatched apps. This isn't some sort of conspiracy by Google to ruin your patched apps.
