Now, upon reassembly, the slide will not go all the way back because the hammer is down. I did not try to push the hammer back in fear of damaging anything. My Security 9 has had four FTEs across approximately 310 rounds since new. The first two were classic stovepipes and easily cleared. Oil collects dirt and that dirt will eventually gum up the firing pin.
