The noble warrior Wookiees are really popular right now, especially on Yoda + Wookiee lists for Republic. I would say they are definitely worth getting. I wouldn’t worry about the 1-2 range, you’ll want to keep them fairly protected until they can close the gap into melee range. We've found the Republic/Separatist core set from a trusted shop for around £95. However, we've also noticed the 'Essentials' kit, which is considerably cheaper for £27. For my suggestions, paint the cockpit and the back internal area first, keep them split in half if you want. Then prime the outer shells and follow the in box instructions for building the sub assembly, keeping them separate from each other for painting, again if you want keep the main body in the two halves.

What are you using them for? I tried doing magnets in my bases, and honestly it didn't work well. They weren't strong enough to secure them in the container, and they have this super annoying tendency to repeal units away from each other which got really annoying

So whether they’re good or not isn’t my concern. I've just had a game with them and yes they are good, if you opponents lets then be. I managed to get them round the back of my oppoent and take an objective late game, they also took a lot of shots. In my game their damage wiffed a bit so that still ramains to be seen.
