Kotor twist.

I beat Kotor for the first time today and the plot twist bent my mind. The only other time something like this happened was in Bioshock, but the difference in scale couldn't be more stark. In Bioshock you are playing as the henchman, in Kotor you *are* the big baddie. The amazing thing was how this revelation made me feel more powerful. Tackle the 1,350 steps up to the St Giovanni Fortress to get an eagle's view of Kotor's Old Town with its rust-red rooves, and the limestone cliffs of the bay in the distance. KOTOR still gets me with that plot twist [SPOILERS] I mean, the game is 13 years old, but maybe there's someone out there who hasn't played it yet. Don't wanna ruin it. But anyways, I'm a HUGE lore junkie and I had known that Revan gets captured and mins wiped and enlisted back into the Jedi. I've known that for years. Imo KOTOR is still worth playing even if you got spoiled. Although the Revan reveal is an important part of what makes the game great there's plenty of other components that make the game awesome. I actually got it spoiled partway through my first playthrough, but I still greatly enjoyed it and have replayed since. For me Kotor 1 is easily the superior game. It had the classic Star Wars feel (while still telling a new story in a completely different era), the characters were awesome and the twist at the end is one of the best in video game history.
