I would say in my opine the most common problem with a 336 would be with failure to fire with a .35 with a loose extractor causing misfires. Easily corrected with a minor adjustment. I would recommend following the SASS and CASS members upgrades for their levers for function and reliability. If you load for a 30-30 click. here.
