Yeah, the prelims are at the same time, so I would recommend just taking the early 2930 exam from 5:30-7:00 PM and the normal 2940 exam from 7:30-9:00 PM (or vice versa—the bigger class usually offers the makeup exam since more people are likely to have conflicts).
