In initial brightness, I believe the edge goes to the Seiko. But after 7 hours of sleep (or thereabouts), the Citizen appears to me to retain more luminosity. The difference was very noticeable and annoying. The lume lasted a good few hours but the hands much dimmer. Why the FXD doesn't suffer with this is a mystery.
