Each time one of your characters in the AoE takes buggy damage, they steal focus and the screen moves onto them for a moment, making it crazy hard to issue commands to your character whose actual turn it is. On my first playthrough, I remember having a tough fight in the first cave on the nameless ruins map. On my second playthrough that tough named enemy is not there anymore.
