I'd love a 300 gun if the ammo was 35-40 cents a round. A Very hard hitting round that doesn't lose its effectiveness in a 7.5 to 8.5 inch barrel. It's perfect as a home defense, truck gun, urban "do it all" gun out to a couple hundred yards. I just won't spend 60+ cents a round to practice with it. Aero sells that same exact trigger for $9 cheaper. I'm not saying the JAKL isn't a fun gun, but I wouldn't put it in the same category as the scar-l or bren 2 like he did. It still has a ways to go imho. The review made him sound more like "GT the YouTube gun salesman" vs the flannel daddy that we know and love.
I found the stock for and hardware for sale on the F5 website, but it costs more than the PSA complete lower build kit with the F5 stock. I wound up ordering the complete lower build kit from PSA. I'll put the stock on my 13.7" P&W 5.56, and when JAKL .300 BO uppers come back in stock, I'll have everything I need to build a JAKL SBR in .300 ...
