BUT CZ mags are sometimes hard to find too. As everything else online is best. The CZ is an easier to work on gun. HK while can be worked on with the same tools it can be a pain in the ass. What really stood out, was the weight. While not quite as crisp as the VP9, the APX trigger was noticeably lighter. I knew the APX was a good gun, I just expected it to be noticeably less good than the VP9. Turns out not to be the case at all. For my money, and my opinion, Beretta APX is absolutely on par with HK VP9. Beretta doesn't make crap.

I started with G19 but now prefer an HK VP9 in every configuration. The VP9 has nicer ambidextrous features but really it’s mostly about what feels right to shoot. I agree that the Steyr is appealing but it’s not as easy to find parts and mags, so I’d stick with the HK, Glock, or Walther models you listed, pick one and go from there.

The slide on the HK VP9 is chamfered at the top is filleted at the top, while there’s a chamfer with a hard edge on the SIG P320. That makes the HK VP9 just slightly more comfortable in the hand but I’m really nitpicking to find a difference. I would say the HK VP9 is slightly better than the Sig P320, but not by much at all. Regardless the VP9SK has a superb trigger and is a fantastic shooter. It’s a sub-compact that shoots like a full size. I haven’t shot the P10s but I’ve not heard a bad thing about them. You could compare the VP9 against the P10 however. I've owned all these pistols. As far as CZ goes I prefer the P07 to any of the 10's. Also have the P09. VP09 has better controls than P10.
