May 7, 2020 · The engine was hot as she had been driving not long before. I tested the battery voltage with the light on and engine running it was reading 12.1 volts. I turned it off and on a few times and the battery light went off, it then read 13.9 volts on the battery while cranked. No sound or smell coming from alternator area btw Faulty new alternator?
Yes, George - this is probably the stupidest design feature of the 5th generation Ody. Even the 10-speed used in the upper trim models and now all models requires a special tool to pop the transmission into neutral from the engine bay. Ridiculous!!!
