Trying to find something that works is often a challenge. I have had my HC belt for two weeks now and I haven't tried using it in the shower or at night in bed yet, but it is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this belt, if it works for someone in a wheelchair then it will work for an able-body.

You can get it pretty tight tho. I like the HC belt a lot because I wear a lot of gym clothes. Tough to wear some of the other CCW belts in gym shorts or sweatpants. This one stretches as needed too. Side note* my kore belt is my favorite so far but I wish the buckle was smaller.
