I just beat the Apocalypse challenge on highest difficulty (gold). They patched the two best hiding spots, but it's still doable. If you're struggling, here are my tips :) - Choose objectives. Smudge objectives, escape hunts, and ghost pic are A+. Motion sensor and candle are good too.
