It depends on how you want your game to look: hd models basically makes everything like in real life, and dux's adds new models but respecting the vanilla style of the game. Hd models turn the game into dayz. They don't belong in that world.

I personally use Dux because it has a much more vanilla feel whilst adding tons of variation and female stalkers to many factions.
