People saying a 1mz will pop at 7 psi are probably refering to the trd (piece of crap) supercharger that blows nothing but hot air past 6 psi, that will pop an engine fast. I don't know what that charger puts out at 10psi on a 1mz but it should be able to hold 300bhp, the tranny is the real issue unless you get a shift kit.Pick your peak power, and powerband goals. I would highly suggest that if you don't plan anything more than an aux. cooler, fluid change & valve body upgrade for the automatic transmission. Daily drive 280hp & don't exceed 320hp.
