Personally I scored a 508 on Altius fl1 about a month before taking the AAMC FL 1. It is definitely deflated I would say but not as bad as the NS full lengths or any other third party. And for CARS, i think it may be the best resource I have used. The question types are VERY similar, and the difficulty is definetly on par with or harder than AAMC. The only knock i have on Uworld is that they need to add more questions and passages, but that is probably due to them being new to the MCAT game. Personally I do Jack Westin every single day (its free). I would honestly do both because UWorld is also representative of the exam (or so Ive heard). My friends who already took the MCAT used both and did well on the CAR section. Honestly, the more practice the better!! I have the AAMC Car 1 and 2 question pack and CAR 1 pack is fucking harder ...I think it is harder. If you score well on a BP definitely feel great about it! I see much more 'low yield' content on BP materials than the AAMC. Based on reactions I’ve read and personal experience, I think it’s safe to expect 1 section to be section bank level or harder. 2 sections to be AAMC FL level and 1 section to be on the easier side. I would also like to comfort you and let you know that imo, and I think most people would agree, UWorld is definitely harder than AAMC materials except maybe the section banks. You will get used to looking at hard shit so when you get the test everything slows down for you. On the other hand, AAMC is the same style and level of thought you’ll see on exam day. Both would be good, maybe shift to just AAMC once your exam gets closer.
