LBG pierce is great as it's not as reliant on perfect monster dodging like spread and also not as hitzone dependant as normals. Your DPS will vary depending on the monster though. For pierce 3 grab the last boss LBG and then when you're up in higher MRs pickup the malzeno LBG for pierce 2 rapid fire. Gear up to ATK 7, Pierce 3, WEX 3.Elemental builds without Focus 2 are likely much better for Courage, but you will have to play with uncomfortable sharpness in many cases. Bow: Chameleos bow now loses to other spread bows in a couple more matchups (though it's still a very strong bow). More information available here.
