Monacoers can be a good site but any Yahoo forums are "dumbed" down. There is no way to attach photos. You cannot have a permanent signature and more. The files section is quite good. I think Rex has his excellent parts database on that site. Unlike this site there can be a lot of fighting. The forum owner is quite knowledgeable. You would get a scan tool compatible with your vehicle's communication system. If this is a newer diesel, then probably J1939 protocol is used.
