S35vn is almost twice as though as s45vn whereas s45vn will have an increase edge holding. so it really depends on what will be your use of your knife.For edc go s35vn everytime (if proformance is a concern), for collector damascus is a nice choice. That's true of some damascus but not the sort CRK uses. To be clearer, I mean the properties of damascus might not have more than aesthetic appeal, but that doesn't mean the steel used is inadequate or inferior in any regard.
