As a counter manager, Nordstrom was a great place to work at first. However, I never received adequate training for my position. As counter manager, it’s important to know your business like the back of your hand however the managers never gave me that option. The women are very catty and mostly gossip.

I tried to interview for Nordstrom but didn't like that they did their interview process online over HireVue. It made me feel awkward and I prefer doing it face to face so I can get a personal feel for the environment.Nordstrom has such high end merchandise and the quality control is obviously lacking.
