Whether using passenger side control or driver side control, when we try to raise the window to the top (closed), it gets there but then suddenly lowers to half way. Any time we try to close completely it lowers back down to half way.
The original window issue is that the passenger side seems to not be set on its track correctly and would continually roll down when it hits the top when auto going up. But if the car is overheating both fans should be running at high speed, in which case, if the sub fan relay has failed, the main fan will still function.
More than likely it is a faulty window drive motor. They are a bit of a pain to replace but it can be done with some patience. Seagrass.
