A change in hulls or wads makes a huge difference. I've tried some of the published loads but didn't have great results. Finally tried Rem plastic hulls (STS), SP20 wads and longshot. Easier yet is to take a 7/8 oz. field load using the AA 20 wad, and drop 1/2 grain off the powder charge and use the 1 oz AA20F1 wad and 1 oz. shot.
