My big question is; everyone says the have been getting their info/pcm for doing the swap from "Lextech." Is this a vendor...You have to license the tune that you want to use and you have to license the PCM. The only way to use the segment swap feature is if the tune on the PCM is the same OS as the tune you want to use. I don't believe the V6 os and the V8 os are the same. so you wouldn't be able to swap segments. The trick is to check the color's that are marked on the PCM's connectors, if it is Red/Blue, then the PCM will work. Everything is good with the tune/truck/programming until I swapped in electric fans. Figured out the O/S that was on the original PCM could not properly run the fans.
