I have some stained, glossy trim (pine I believe) that I am painting using latex paint. I have cleaned and scuffed it and put on a coat of Sherwin Williams extreme bond. Adhesion seems good. I can easily see tannin bleed through in areas where the clear coat on the trim was more worn.
