No offense to Springfield owners, but i don’t think this is much of a competition. Glock absolutely dunks on the XD. I’ve shot the XD plenty of times and it’s by no means a bad gun, but I don’t think I would ever buy one when a G17/19 is only an extra $100. This video that critiques the XD is very entertaining and insightful.

In the subcompact family, I found G26/27 to be smaller and lighter than their XD counterparts, and Glock to be more customizable and parts easier to get for all models, with a slight price advantage to Glock.
