My wife was driving the Jeep this morning and said upon approaching a car on a stop light from behind when she got very very close to it that the Jeep made a sound like a seatbelt warning and it locked (not the doors) and she tried to push the gas pedal to move but it took 3-4 seconds to start driving.

After using them as steps for a while they deformed the car body sheet metal they are mounted to in such a way that the rails started to sag a little bit. Also they got pretty rusty after only 2 years.
