If you look very closely there should be a tiny number for each pin molded into the connector somewhere, maybe inside. If not, pull the connector off the BMS and hold the connector looking into the end of it with the retainer latch UP / on TOP: Pin 1 is on the RIGHT. Pin 2 is on the LEFT.

If you start the vehicle and let it idle, then grab those wires by the battery box and move them around, chances are you'll be able to get the vehicle to shut down.
