Jeep wrangler overheating while driving.
Big Warn winch, transmission cooler in front of radiator, and 8" driving lights up front too. My present TJ (the black one) has the same cooler (but for power steering) in front of the radiator and a Warn winch in front of the radiator. Never an overheating problem on either of them caused by those extra items positioned in front of the radiator.
Mar 4, 2024 · I just purchased a 2014 jeep rubicon. First time owning a jeep it was fine the first 2 days, today i hit the highway and as soon as i hit 70 mph the car starts to slowly overheat. I saw this question come up and I don't recall anyone having any real issues with overheating, however if you would rather be sure not to cause a problem one solution is to get an off-road bumper where the winch is recessed. Lots of them have a recessed design (Lod, AEV, Mopar).
