On a friendly challenge from a noted Browning collector, he perfectly duplicated Felix Funken's "Smiling Dog" on the rear of the receiver on the 16 gauge. Attached photo shows an original example of Funken's work; unfortunately J J recently sold both guns so I have no comparison photo of his work, but I can tell you it was good!
Leather restoration/repair. I recently purchased a set of circa 1880s Westley Richards doubles. Both the 12 ga and the 20 ga came in the original leather covered wooden cases.
