It's worth noting that the .45's rep was built with a 5" barrel and a 230 grain bullet traveling 835 fps. What +P ammo will do in the short barreled PT145 is to get it's muzzle velocity more inline with a 5" - and 100 fps wiil make a pretty drastic difference in expansion and penetration.

I don't want it for carry, just fun, so full frame is fine with me. My PT145 was deemed non-repairable. They are not currently making or shipping .45s until the first of the year.
PT145 Millennium Pro won't fire. The firing pin block safety won't release and permit the gun to fire. I took the slide out and can see the problem. The firing pin lock (item 1.16 on parts diagram) has the offset part (at the bottom of the pin) broken off.
